I highly recommend Mary and Drew. I had a hospital bill for a hysterectomy that should have been covered by my insurance. I called Mary to try to retain her services in negotiating down a large five-figure bill from the Mayo Clinic. She asked detailed questions, shared knowledge and insights, and was extremely generous with her time and expertise. Ultimately, she told me that I would be best served handling my complaint directly with Mayo, advised me exactly how to do this, and offered to continue to serve as a resource moving forward as a friend. Words are inadequate to express how grateful we are to Mary and Andrew. I can not thank them enough for all of their assistance with our billing issues! Calling ClaimMedic is the best decision I made! I was so completely stressed trying to talk with the insurance company myself and continually getting no where. My wife was in Cardiac Critical Care with sepsis for 10 days which started the last Friday in October 2017…..To help pay for her health care I came off my insurance and was going to re-enroll my health insurance Nov. 1st 2018. Mary and staff patiently worked through my $30,000 hospital stay bill with a very disconnected and disjointed hospital administration staff. My questions were never answered and the billing department did not talk with customers. Customer service was not local and not helpful. My son got sick and hospitalized for 10 days. Unfortunately, i was in period of changing job and didn’t have insurance. I got bills around 360K. ClaimMedic helped me by addressing a billing issue that was supposed to be covered by my insurance, so I thought. We were in Florida on vacation when my granddaughter passed out and was taken to the ER and then to the Hospital. Fortunately, she is OK but the bills were quite large. The insurance paid the bill as in network since it was an emergency. After the insurance payment we received a balance bill for over $6,000. After working with Mary at ClaimMedic she explained to us that Florida has a Balance Billing Statute than in the case of an emergency and where the patient has no choice on picking the provider that the patient is only responsible for any deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance after the insurance has paid. After working with Mary and presenting this statute the over $6,000 balance bill was adjusted to a $0 balance.

After the death of my daughter from cancer, our family was overwhelmed with hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. Even after claims were filed (and some rejected) we were still owing at well over $100,000, mostly at a England provider. After getting bounced around from one insurance department to another and having provider contacts changing every few months, I was totally frustrated. Providers were beginning to push for payment.

My son travels internationally and has medical insurance through a travel policy. He had surgery in Taiwan along with follow up physical therapy. The insurance company approved the procedures ahead of time but when the bills arrived, it was nothing but red tape. It was a huge headache for him and me as we tried to resolve it with a 12 hour time difference. We turned everything over to ClaimMedic and they took it from there. I had a simple brief, maybe 2 hours, stay in the ER for kidney stone. I was expecting a bill from the ER!
