Healthcare Navigators helps people navigate our healthcare system. Understanding medical bills, conditions, hospitalizations, or how to advocate for a loved one can be daunting at best. We are here to walk with you during these difficult seasons of life.

Medical Bills – we review medical bills (not paid by insurance) for any errors, duplicate charges, and incorrect coding. We coordinate with the insurance company to monitor payments and make appeals.  And lastly, we negotiate the charges with the healthcare providers on behalf of the patient. We give you peace of mind.

Case Management – we assist patients (or their families) with long term care situations, chronic medical conditions such as cancer, spinal injuries, or dementia to mention a few.
We assist with care coordination of multiple doctors, physical therapists, home health providers, medications, etc. Sometimes what is needed is an advocate at the doctor’s visit to provide an updated picture of the patient’s current health condition, ask about treatment options, or provide accurate doctor visit information back to a family member who might be out of state. We give you peace of mind.

My career has always involved advocacy in some way. As an RN I advocated for my orthopedic and rehabilitation patients by providing care, patient education and discharge planning. The last 20+ years I have worked with insurance companies and TPAs in a variety of roles. Again there was advocacy: from designing medical case management programs, and vendor programs to developing CE classes for internal and external customers. As a National Account Manager for PPOs, I advocated on behalf of my customers to ensure their needs were met and exceeded. This involved working as a team on medical billing and AR reconciliation.
